How to access multimedia files via DLNA

DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) is a feature that allows to access multimedia files stored on the device through another device without a cable connection. Although it has been
embedded in many products smartphone, this feature is often not used.

Acer Smartphones currently provide specialized applications to facilitate users to utilize the DLNA feature. Here's how to use it.

1. Run the Media Server application from the main menu (app drawer).
2. Click on the Share options Contents.
3. Click the Wi-Fi Settings when wifi is not enabled on Gallant Duo.
4. Ensure Gallant Duo is connected to the same wifi network as your computer or other device that will be used to access the multimedia files stored in the phone. Click back.
5. Select the type of multimedia files to be accessed on other devices. Users can also choose a name for Gallant duo will be seen on other devices.
6. Next the user can directly access the
multimedia files stored on Gallant Duo on another device also supports DLNA and connected to the same network as used Gallant Duo.

You can use the Windows Media Player software on a computer running Windows 7 to perform this test.
